Zylog, today announced the launch of its ‘Wi5’ fixed wireless broadband services in Punjab. This service will be available in cities like Ludhiana, Kharar, Zirakpur, Hoshiarpur and Mohali in the first phase and will later be extended to other parts of the state.
Zylog would soon set up a Regional Customer Care Centre in Mohali that would cover the entire state to ensure hassle free user experience. Zylog’s Wi5 will offer various unlimited internet plans with download speeds ranging from 256 kbps upto 2Mbps starting from Rs. 499. The company plans to retail network subscription to individual users on an advance rental basis.
The various plans available for the customers are:
- 256 Kbps : Rs. 499 per month + tax
- 512 Kbps : Rs. 699 per month + tax
- 1 Mbps : Rs. 899 per month + tax
Also available 256 Kbps plan with 2 GB data limit for just Rs 250 per month + tax
Currently Zylog’s wifi operates in 5 states and they plan to expand it to atleast 7 states in this financial year. Zylog is expecting to complete the Wi5 project in Punjab by February 2011 and attain a subscriber base of around 25,000 by March 2012.
