With a lot of smartphones coming out of China, ZUK with the backing of Lenovo has launched the ZUK Z1.
ZUK, which is a Lenovo-backed smartphone start-up, has announced the launch of the ZUK Z1, which is the company’s first smartphone and boasting a aircraft-grade aluminium metal frame, reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port and an inbuilt fingerprint scanner. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The ZUK Z1 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor, OIS, 1.12um pixels, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a massive 4100 mAh battery. The company is yet to reveal the global availability of the handset.
