Nokia is said to be leading the Windows Phone bandwagon, but of course Microsoft has partnered various OEMs including Chinese handset and mobile equipment maker ZTE. When we last heard ZTE had announced the Tania which was their first Windows Phone, but we didn’t hear about the launch of the device.
Now we are hearing that the smartphone will be launching in China soon, but sources are saying that the smartphone will now come with 1.4GHz processer rather than a 1 GHz which was announced at the time when the smartphone was revealed.
So the final specs of the ZTE Tania will include a 1.4 GHz processor, 4.3 inch display, 4GB storage, 512MB RAM, a 5MP camera and we presume that it will be running on Windows Phone Tango.
We hope that the company launches the Tania in India, as the Windows Phone platform is dominated by Nokia in the country and consumers do need an array of devices to choose from.
