While we have already seen quite a few flagships sporting the powerful Snapdragon 820 processor, ZTE is currently working on a new flagship which flaunts the new Snapdragon 823 chipset.
ZTE is said to be currently working on the upcoming flagship ZTE Nubia X8 with a massive 6.44 inch display and a full metal body. Interestingly, the handset is expected to be offered in three variants – an entry-level affordable offering, a mid-range offering and a high-end premium offering. While there is still no word on the launch date, sources claim that the announcement would come in the second half of 2016.
Now reports suggest that the premium variant of the flagship ZTE Nubia X8 would be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor along with a copious 6 GB of RAM. The mid-range offering would also use the same chipset but with 4 GB of RAM. While we did mention that there would be an entry level offering, that smartphone would be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor.
