As we near the CES 2013, more details on the possible smartphone launches at the event are flowing in. And it seems that ZTE has also decided not be left behind and will unveil a 5-inch full-HD smartphone called the ZTE Grand S.
The Chinese manufacturer is another addition to the already long list of manufacturers who have already released or or planning to launch a 5-inch smartphone with full-HD display which include: HTC, Oppo, Sony, Huawei and even Lenovo.
The 5-inch 1080p full-HD screen of the ZTE Grand S will pack in a pixel density of 440 PPI. For now, the other specs of the smartphone are unknown but we expect it to match the standard that the HTC Butterfly has set.
We expect the Grand S to be powered by a quad core processor coupled with about 2 GB RAM. The smartphone is also said to arrive as the “world’s thinnest full HD smartphone” but we still do not know what profile it would launch with.
We expect the Grand S to pack in a 13 MP camera at the rear and the front facing camera could be more than or equal to 1.3 MP. We are just a couple of weeks away from CES 2013, when ZTE would make the device official.
