Micromax’s sister brand YU Televentures is now back with its budget smartphones. After the launch of Yureka S, Yunique Plus, the successor to the Yu Yunique, is now officially launched in India at a price of ₹6,999. The price of the Plus variant is significantly increased from its predecessor YU Yunique.
Yu Yunique Plus is actually the smaller sibling of the YU Yureka S. Last year’s YU Yunique is as cheap as ₹4,999, but this is a plus variant in which the RAM is increased to 2 GB. The rest of the specifications are kept the same.
The handset is sized at 4.7-inch featuring HD IPS display protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the performance side, the handset sports a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. YU Yunique Plus boasts a 2 GB RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage that can be expandable using MicroSD.
Moving to the cameras, YU Yunique Plus features an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The smartphone also supports 4G network and is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. YU Yunique plus comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with YU skin on top of it. The smartphones is available offline through different authorized retail chains across India.
