Given the demand for the YU Yunique, which was touted to be the most affordable 4G smartphone, the company seems to be gearing up with its successor – the YU Yunique Plus.
The YU Yunique Plus, which is the successor to the YU Yunique with improved specs, was listed on the company’s official site. The device has a 4.7 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The YU Yunique Plus has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 6499 and is expected to be officially announced in the next few weeks.
