With the increasing demand for affordable 4G smartphones, YU has now launched its latest budget 4G offering – the YU Yunique. Here is our first impression of the device.
The YU Yunique flaunts a design strikingly similar to the recently launched YU Yuphoria including the prolific power button squeezed between the volume rocker on the right. The device measures just 4.7 inch making it very comfortable to hold.
The device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which is surprisingly high for a phone in that price range.
The back of the phone has a plastic body with a finish that attracts a lot of fingerprints, thus resulting in smudges.
Also prominent is the 8 MP rear camera with the Saturn Ring design. Removing the back cover reveals the two micro SIM card slots, the micro-SD card slot and the non-removable 2000 mAh battery. We would be reviewing the device soon but for now it does seem to be a catch for the price point of Rs. 4999.
