After several rumours, YouTube has now officially launched the YouTube Music app for Android and iOS to make music discovery easier.
YouTube has announced the launch of the YouTube Music app for Android and iOS, which allows the user to explore YouTube’s catalog and offers everything from official music videos to popular covers and remixes to concert videos when searching for an artist, track or album. Interestingly, the music is said to never stop once it starts playing.
The home tab displays the recently played tracks and recommends tracks based on your choice. It also shows the new music available for that week. On installing the app, users get a 14 day free trial for YouTube Red membership that will allow you to play music in the background, get ad-free videos and have the ability to listen to music offline. You can download the YouTube Music app from the Google Play store and the Apple App Store.
