While we are all geared up with heavy expectation from the fourth-gen Galaxy S device which will be launched by Samsung at its Unpacked event on March 14, seems like some companies are out to steal its thunder with the “fastest smartphone ever”.
According to the invites sent out, XOLO, which is part of Lava Mobiles, is going to launch what it claims to be the “fastest smartphone ever, with Intel Inside”. Now the interesting part, the still unnamed phone would also be launched on March 14 (which if you have forgotten, is the day when the Galaxy S IV would be launched) on the shores of a majestic beach in Goa, that too, a few hours before the Samsung Unpacked event in the US. Stiff competition huh?
The device to be launched by XOLO is expected to have an advanced version of the Clover Trail+ range of CPUs. As per the claims it’s still left to be seen if the device would be the “fastest smartphone ever, with Intel Inside” in the Intel range or truly the “fastest smartphone ever”, period.
