Xolo, the Indian smartphone maker has just announced a brand new device dubbed Xolo Q2500 PocketPad. It is a new phablet by Xolo aimed at the mid-range market, which has become a whole interesting ever since the arrival of Moto G.
The Xolo Q2500 PocketPad features a huge 6-inch IPS display of 720p resolution, which makes up for a ppi of 245. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MTK 6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU and coupled with 1 GB RAM. There’s 4 GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 32 GB.
On the camera front, the Q2500 features a 8 MP autofocus rear camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. There’s 2 MP front facing camera as well for your selfie needs. Xolo has also brought about the usual camera tricks like Scene detection, HDR, face recognition, vertical & horizontal panorama capture and Geo tagging.
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is on-board and Xolo says the device will be upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future. There’s a 3000 mAh battery and dual SIM support. Other connectivity options include USB 2.0, USB OTG support,Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
Xolo has also introduced a brand new flip cover for the phablet and it will also offer a USB OTG cable. The device is priced at Rs. 14,999.
