With fingerprint sensors becoming a much sought after feature in smartphones, Xolo has launched its first smartphone with a fingerprint scanner – the Xolo Q2100.
Xolo has announced the launch of the Xolo Q2100, which is the company’s first Android smartphone with a fingerprint scanner. The sensor on the back panel allow the user to securely access and unlock the smartphone in just a swipe. The scanner can register a Maximum of 3 fingers as a part of the authentication process. It also has the Last Pass app secured by a fingerprint sensor to manage the passwords
The Xolo Q2100 has a 5.5 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The handset is equipped with an infrared sensor that can be used to control the TV, DVR, DVD player and more appliances using the built-in app and Peel Smart Remote app.
The Xolo Q2100 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Exmor R sensor, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 2800 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 13499.
