While Xolo had started the Q-Core series in partnership with Intel to keep the cost minimum, the company seems to be slowly moving away towards higher end Qualcomm processors.
The Xolo Q1100, which is the company’s first smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor has been listed on the company website. The device has a 5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The 1.4 GHz quad core processor is supported by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. There is also the Adreno 305 GPU.
The Xolo Q1100 is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a front facing 2 MP camera. The phone runs on the Android v4.3, making it the first Xolo device to get the update. Also there is a 2250 mAh battery, which the company claims to be capable of charging faster than other phones. The handset is priced at Rs. 14999 and is expected to be announced next week.
