With the increasing demand for budget smartphones, Xolo has launched the Xolo One so as to fit in the Android One wave in India.
Xolo has announced the launch of the Xolo One, which is the company’s latest budget Android smartphone. While the specs and even the pricing closely matches the Android One smartphones, this is not officially an Android One handset. The device has a 4.5 inch IPS display with OGS and resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Xolo One has a 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version and is expected to receive the Android Lollipop update. The handset is priced at Rs. 6599 and is available in Red, White, Black and Brown colour options.
