While Samsung’s handset is yet to be launched in New York later tonight, XOLO took the lead by launching what it claims is the fastest smartphone amongst a range of high end and highly priced devices.
The XOLO X1000 which is a result of the long standing partnership between XOLO mobiles and INTEL has higher benchmark ratings which outshine popular handsets like the Galaxy S III. The device was officially launched in Grand Hyatt, Goa today by Sunil Raina, Business Head of XOLO.
The new XOLO X1000 has a 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2480 Processor along with a PowerVR SGX540 which utilizes the 2.5D screen to personify the experience with the graphics. The 4.7 inch display has a 720×1280 pixels resolution with 314 pixels per inch.
The XOLO X1000 runs on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS which would be then upgraded to Jelly Bean version in the next quarter. The smartphone is equipped with a standard 8 megapixels rear camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. The camera would support 1080p video recording @ 30 fps.
The XOLO X1000 has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The handset has a 1900 mAh battery which is supposed to give 9.5 hours of 3G talktime along with 5 hours of 3G browsing time. The phone has Wi-Fi support with proximity sensor and accelerometer.
The XOLO X1000 is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 19999 till 20th March after which it will be available at all leading mobile retail stores.
