With over a lac Redmi 1s owners in India, Xiaomi has been focussing on the user feedback to offer the best experience and has released the first update for the handset.
Xiaomi has announced the release of the software update version 45 for the Xiaomi Redmi 1S in India. The update has fixes for some common issues pointed out by the Indian Redmi 1s users. For users updating from v43, the update measures just 11 MB. However for users upgrading from v41, the update weighs around 515 MB.
The major issues fixed by the software update version 45 for the Xiaomi Redmi 1S include heating and battery life by using an improved control algorithm to better regulate temperature and keep it under 38 C. The RAM availability for the handset is also improved and there is a fix for UI performance as well.
Speaking about the update, Hugo Barra, VP Global, Xiaomi, said, “Today we released an over-the-air system update (v45) for the Redmi 1S. This release incorporates feedback received from a large number of users and addresses a few important issues.”
