Just a week after the Redmi Pro was unveiled, a new rumour now suggests that Xiaomi is already working on the Pro version of the handset.
According to sources based out of China, Xiaomi is working on a Redmi Pro mini variant called the Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini. The handset is expected to tone down the specs and features including a smaller 5.2 inch display. More importantly, the Redmi Pro Mini will ship without the much-talked about dual rear camera setup.
Rumours also claim that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini would be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and would be available in 3 GB and 4 GB variants. Also present would be the fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. The handset is expected to be priced starting at 1499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 15000) and is expected to be unveiled in the next quarter.
