While we just saw teasers of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the company has now officially launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime, which is the successor to the Redmi Note 4G. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version with a massive 3100 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 8499 and would be available exclusively on Amazon.in from December 15.
