After the success of the Mi3 and the Redmi 1s, Xiaomi has now launched the much awaited Redmi Note in India.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi Note and the Redmi Note 4G variant in India. The handsets are priced at Rs. 8999 and Rs. 9999 respectively. As expected, the devices would be available exclusively on Flipkart from December 2. The registration for the sale would begin on November 25 at 6 p.m.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device has a massive 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the MiUI v5 version with a 3100 mAh battery.
