While Xiaomi has already begun the sales of the Redmi Note 4G in India, Airtel has announced exclusive offers for the handset users.
Bharti Airtel, which is one of the few telecom operators who have rolled out the 4G network in India, has announced that it has officially opened bookings for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G from today. The handset would be available at 133 Airtel stores across 6 cities which include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Kolkata.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G would be priced at the same Rs. 9999 at the Airtel Stores and would be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis thus not requiring customers to wait for the flash sale happening on Flipkart. The operator would also organize a ‘Mi Day’ each week at select stores in these cities enabling customers to walk-in and walk-out with a Redmi Note 4G.
Customers intending to purchase the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G from Airtel can book their handset online by visiting www.Airtel.in/mi starting today and then select the preferred Airtel store and date for purchasing the device. The users would also be given a new 4G SIM to experience the 4G internet speeds wherever available.
As a promotional offer for the Airtel 4G post-paid customers in Bengaluru, the company is offering double data benefits on the existing plans for the Redmi Note 4G. As such, for Rs. 250, the user would get 2 GB of 4G data instead of the usual 1 GB.
