Months after the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was unveiled, Xiaomi has now launched the Snapdragon variant of the flagship in India.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone with a premium sand-blasted metal body and fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 5.5 inch display with Corning Gorilla glass protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The handset flaunts the hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor, making it the first smartphone to use the chipset.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is available in two variants – the 2 GB variant with 16 GB storage and 4050 mAh battery and the 3 GB variant with 32 GB storage and 4050 mAh battery. Interestingly the handset is equipped with a rear facing 16 MP camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is available in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey colour options. The 2 GB variant is priced at Rs. 9999 whereas the 3 GB variant is priced at Rs. 11999. The handset will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in starting from March 9.
