The Redmi Note 2 Pro is somewhat similar to the Redmi Note 2, but, with an inclusion of a metal body and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Now with a teaser that has surfaced online, we can say that Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of Redmi Note 2 Pro. The Redmi Note 2 Pro will be a successor to the Redmi Note 2.
According to a teaser that has surfaced online, the company is preparing for the launch of a mobile phone on November 24th. The device could very well be the Redmi Note 2 Pro. Going by the rumors, the Redmi Note 2 Pro is expected to be powered by a 2GHz MediaTek MT6795 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Another variant featuring 3GB of RAM is also expected.
It also boasts off a 5.5-inch Full-HD display. It also has 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Redmi Note 2 Pro will run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.

The only differences between the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is that Note 2 Pro has a sports a metal body along with fingerprint scanner on the back, and is slightly thinner than the Note 2 Pro. The 2GB variant of the Redmi Note 2 Pro is expected to be priced at around $172 USD, which is around ₹11,364 in Indian currency. The 3GB variant of this device might be priced higher though.
Talking about the launch, the event will take place on November 24th at China National Convention Center. Fans of Mi in China can buy the ticket for the event at a price of ¥199 (around ₹2059 in Indian currency). The tickets are limited to the first 500 participants only.
