Alongside announcing the Surge S1 SoC and Mi 5c today, Xiaomi has also announced the Redmi 4X. Of course, these announcements weren’t made at MWC in Spain, but, were made in Beijing, China.
The Redmi 4X is powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC which is coupled with 2/3 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 505 GPU. The 2 GB RAM variant comes with 16 GB of internal storage whereas the 3 GB RAM variant is offered with 32 GB of internal storage. Of course, this much storage can be too low these days, and hence, you expand the storage up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X sports a uni-body metal construction and comes with a fingerprint scanner at its back. It also a 13 MP primary camera at the back and a 5 MP secondary camera on the front. The device sports a 5-inch HD display which is kept on by a huge 4100 mAh battery.
