Just after we saw the leaked images of the Xiaomi Redmi 4, the handset has now received certification in China.
A Xiaomi smartphone bearing number 2016060 was certified by TENAA in China. While the name of the handset was not mentioned, sources in the know claim that it could be the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 4. The listing also revealed the specs of the smartphone, which are very much in line with the specs rumoured earlier.
The listing of the alleged Xiaomi Redmi 4 reveals a 5 inch full HD display. The smartphone is apparently powered by the octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3 GB of RAM. Also present is a 13 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone apparently packs in a massive 4000 mAh battery. If rumours are true, then we should see the smartphone unveiled on August 25.
