Putting an end to all the leaks and teasers, Xiaomi has finally officially unveiled the next-generation Xiaomi Redmi 4.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 4, which is the successor to the Redmi 3 and sports a full metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The handset is available in two variants. The standard version has a 5 inch HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The high-end variant has a 5 inch full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 4000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is available in Silver, Grey and Gold colour options. The standard variant is priced at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 7000), whereas the high-end variant is priced at priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 9000)
