Alongside launching the Redmi 3S in India today, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi 3S Prime in the country. While the Redmi 3S is priced at ₹6999, the Redmi 3S Prime comes with a price tag of ₹8999.
The Redmi 3S Prime is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC which is coupled with 3 GB RAM along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5-inch HD display.
The Redmi 3S Prime comes with 32 GB of internal storage whereas the external storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device sports a 13 MP camera at the back and has a 5 MP camera at the front. Both the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are same devices with a difference in RAM and internal storage. The Redmi 3S features 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage whereas the Redmi 3S Prime comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Both these devices also come with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
