After initial rumours about a premium variant of the Redmi 3 with fingerprint scanner, Xiaomi has now officially announced the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro, which is the high-end variant of the company’s affordable 4G smartphone Redmi 3 but with 3 GB of RAM and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 616 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 4000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 9100) and is available in Gray, Silver and Gold colour options.
