Check out our hands-on images and little snippets of our opinions on the handset from the short time we had with it.
The Redmi 1s might be a little cheap but it doesn’t feel like it. The specs are literally too cool for the price, a 4.7-inch display size along with a Snapdragon 400 and Adreno 305 is pretty amazing. The handset comes with amazing specs such as 1 GB RAM, 64 GB MicroSD support and an 8-megapixel rear cam are pretty amazing.
The MiUi ROM is pretty cool. As far as the Android update is concerned, we talked to Hugo Barra about it and he stated that Xiaomi is working on providing the updates on even its low-end phones.
We got the phone in pink color, which would appeal more to women or maybe men who want to break stereotypes.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S placed with Xiaomi Mi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note
The other delight on the phone is its 8-megapixel rear cam, which worked pretty fine as far as our limited use was concerned.
We were mostly delighted by what the phone offered.
