While Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 3 today, the company has also revealed its plans to launch the flagship Mi 5 in the country.
Hugo Barra, VP of Xiaomi, at the launch event reiterated XIaomi’s commitment to the Indian market and revealed that the company has plans of expanding its reach in the country. He also said that the flagship Mi 5, that was launched just two days back in China, will be launched in India next month. The company also announced a massive 20000 mAh power bank that is expected to go on sale soon.
While Xiaomi is facing tough competition with other Chinese handset makers like LeEco, Meizu and others setting their eyes on the Indian market, the company is trying hard to stand strong by offering good devices at a very affordable pricing. However, if the Xiaomi manages to price its flagship well in India, it definitely has a chance to attract more customers.
