We already know that Xiaomi is all set for the launch event which is scheduled tomorrow at the China National Convention Center. This event is going to be one big event as we are expecting the unveiling of Xiaomi Mi 5, Redmi Note 2 Pro, Mi Pad 2 as well as Xiaomi’s smartwatch. Out of these devices, the launch of Mi Pad 2 and Redmi Note 2 Pro is already confirmed.
Now, according to a teaser posted by Xiaomi on their official Weibo account, what was being called the Redmi Note 2 Pro might actually be called the Redmi Note 3, and, will be launched under the same name at tomorrow’s event.
The Redmi Note 2 Pro was essentially same as the Redmi Note 2 with some differences like metal body, thickness and the fingerprint scanner at the back. The name of the Redmi Note 2 Pro has changed, not the specs.
