The Xiaomi Mi3 has gone on sale in India today and Flipkart is having a tough time catering to its demand but the Chinese company has already announced its latest flagship dubbed the Xiaomi Mi4.
The Xiaomi Mi4 seems like an incremental upgrade to the Mi3, so anyone buying the Mi3 shouldn’t really be disappointed. We recently came across various leaks suggesting that the Mi4 will come with a QHD display, Snapdragon 805. Well, all those rumors have turned out to be false.
The Mi4 boasts of a stainless steel frame, which goes through 40 processes and 193 steps to be produced. The device packs in a 5-inch 1080p Sharp / JDI OGS full lamination display. It’s powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB LP-DDR3 RAM. The device packs in 16/64GB eMMC 5.0 storage.
On the camera front, the Mi4 features a 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing Sony stacked CMOS camera. There’s an LED flash as well accompanying the rear camera. While Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the Android version or the MIUI version but we expect Android 4.4 KitKat to be on-board with MIUI 6. Xiaomi has equipped the device with a 3080 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery.
Xiaomi is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details but we’ll let you know, as soon as we get to know.
