Xiaomi has announced a permanent price cut for the Mi Pad in India. While the tablet was launched at Rs. 12999, it is now priced at Rs. 10999, which means a discount of Rs. 2000. The new prices are applicable on all purchases made on the company’s website and Flipkart. Given the price cut, we can assume that the company is gearing up to launch the next gen Mi Pad 2 in India soon.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad has a 7.9 inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The tablet is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The device is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. The tablet sports a massive 6700 mAh battery.
