While the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro flaunted some ultra-high-end hardware, the company has also launched a slightly more affordable flagship – the Xiaomi Mi Note.
Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi Mi Note, which is the company’s latest smartphone with high-end specs but more affordable than the Note Pro. The device has a 5.7 inch 2.5D curved display from JDI with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Note has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX214 BSI sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 4 MP camera. The device runs on the latest MiUI version which is based on the Android KitKat with a 3000 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $371 (approx. Rs. 23000) and is expected to go on sale later this month.
