Reiterating its commitment to the Indian market, Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Max phablet in the country, just a month after its announcement in China.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Max, which is the company’s latest phablet offering with a massive 6.44 inch display, full metal unibody and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 6.44 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa core Snapdragon 650 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a 16 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture with dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 4850 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 14999 and is available in Gold, Silver and Light Grey colour options starting from July 6 on Mi.com.
Xiaomi has also launched a premium variant of the Mi Max which is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 652 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on-board. The variant is priced at Rs. 19999 and would be available soon.
