Xiaomi, widely known for smartphones, has entered the smart TV market with its world’s thinnest Mi TVs first seen in India during the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro launch. Surprisingly, Xiaomi’s Mi LED Smart TV 4C has mistakenly appeared on the Mi.com online store ahead of the launch which is going to be held on 7th March 2018.
The Mi LED Smart TV 4C is currently showing a price of Rs 27,999 ($429) after a 15% discount. Even though you can’t purchase the TV since it’s showing out of stock, it is visible in the store which somehow tells us that it has been on a flash sale before. Other details like specifications and features are empty.
It’s not the first time, the Mi TV 4A 32-inch also appeared online with price recently. The Mi LED Smart TV 4C is a 43-inch smart TV running PatchWall operating system, the smaller variant of the Mi LED Smart TV 4 with 55-inch 4K panel launched in India on 14th February 2018 alongside the two Redmi smartphones. The 55-inch variant with 4K HDR10 display was launched at Rs 39,999 ($613).
While there are no details available on the website, it is expected that the Mi TV 4C will sport a 1080p display, a quad-core Amlogic 64-bit processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. Moreover, the connectivity options will include a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dolby Audio and DTS Audio.
That said, Xiaomi is all set to launch its new Mi TVs in India competing with the existing players like Samsung, Sony, and LG.
