Alongside launching the Mi Air Purifier 2 in India today, Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Band 2 in the country with a price tag of ₹1999.
The Mi Band 2 was first announced in June and is today launched in India. The Mi Band 2 is a successor to the Mi Band, and, unlike the Mi Band, it comes with an OLED display along with a button below it.
The Mi Band 2 also comes with Heart Rate Sensor which was missing from its predecessor. The 0.42-inch OLED display on this fitness tracker shows various information like Time, Step Count and your Heart Rate.
The Mi Band 2 is IP67 certified which makes it resistant to water splashes, dust and sweat. Like its predecessor, it also monitors your sleep cycle and provides you detailed information of the same through the Mi Fit app. You can also use it to unlock your phone.
The Mi Band 2 comes with a 70 mAh battery which is said to offer 20 days of battery life on a single full charge with moderate usage. You can connect your Mi Band 2 to your smartphone through Bluetooth to sync all your fitness data.
The Mi Band 2 will be available for purchase from September 27 at 12 pm through Mi.com and through Amazon India from September 30 at 12 am.
