Soon after the news about the upcoming Mi Band spread around, Xiaomi has now officially launched the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S, which is the successor to the popular budget Mi Band. The overall design and functionality remains unchanged with the new band still not having a display, which means you would have to rely on a smartphone to track the results. The band comes with IP67 certifications which allows it to withstand up to 3 feet of water for as long as 30 minutes.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S interestingly has an added heart rate sensor which would accurately track the heart beats. The wearable measures the number of steps taken and the calories burnt. The band also tracks the quality of your sleep. When paired with a Xiaomi phone, it can be used to unlock the phone and gets a vibrating alert for notifications. The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is priced at just $15 and would ship starting from November 11.
