Xiaomi Mi Band 1S may be launched on November 11; Heart rate sensor in tow

While we have been hearing about the next generation Mi Band from Xiaomi, the wearable maybe be launched next week.

According to sources, Xiaomi is all set to launch the new Mi Band 1S in China on November 11 on the occasion of ‘Singles Day’ which is a popular eCommerce holiday in the country. While there are hardly any details available about the band, it is said to flaunt a heart rate sensor, adding more value and functionality to the wearable.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is expected to be priced at 99 Yuan in China. By rough approximations, we can expect the band to be priced slightly over Rs. 1000 when it is eventually launched in India. However, it would be interesting to see if Xiaomi manages to keep the pricing below the Rs. 1000 point like it did with the Mi Band, which instantly became popular because of the pricing.
