The Xiaomi Mi 5s which was creating quite a buzz on the Internet lately will be unveiled on September 27.
Xiaomi has sent out press invitations for the launch of Mi 5s which is scheduled on September 27. The invite doesn’t directly hint at the launch of Mi 5s, however, the big ‘S’ is proof enough that the Chinese company will indeed launch the Mi 5s on September 27.
Live image of Mi 5s which was leaked two days ago showed us that the home button will now come in a circular shape. The Mi 5s was also spotted on AnTuTu last week which revealed some of its specifications.
According to the AnTuTu listing, the Mi 5s will be powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC and will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will also sport a Full-HD display. Well, the AnTuTu listing didn’t reveal much, however, going by the rumors, the Mi 5s will come in different variants. These variants will differ by the amount of RAM and internal storage. The base variant might feature 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, whereas, the other models might come with 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
Other rumored specs include, 5.15-inch display, USB Type-C, 3490 mAh battery, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and dual rear camera. However, do keep in mind that these are the rumored specs, you might see something different in the final product.
