Soon after Xiaomi teased dual camera setup on its upcoming smartphone which is going to be unveiled on September 27, the company’s CEO has taken to social media to share a photo taken by the Mi 5s.
The photo shown above was shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on his Weibo (China’s social network) account. However, he didn’t give much information. The Mi 5s is rumored to come with dual rear camera, but, it won’t be the first Xiaomi phone to sport dual camera setup. The first Xiaomi phone to come with dual camera setup is the Redmi Pro which was unveiled in July this year.
Talking about how the camera sample looks, we will let you be the judge. The Mi 5s already appeared on AnTuTu last week with Snapdragon 821 SoC, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a Full-HD display which will possibly be 5.15-inch in size.
Other rumored specs include USB Type-C, 3490 mAh battery and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Mi 5s is also rumored to come in different variants with 3/4/6 GB RAM along with 64/128/256 GB internal storage.
We expect to come across more details and leaks before the device is unveiled next week.
