Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 which were launched in March this year in India went on open sale earlier this month. While the Redmi Note 3 is available for purchase through Flipkart and Amazon India, Mi 5 could only be purchased through Mi.com. However, you can now buy the Mi 5 from other websites as well.
The Mi 5 is now available for purchase from Amazon India, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Tata CLiQ. Xiaomi India announced this news through its Twitter handle. Xiaomi India tweeted “More choices – #Mi5 now available on http://mi.com and at @amazonIN @Flipkart @snapdeal @TataCLiQ!“
The Mi 5 has got Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood which is paired with 3 GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It runs on MIUI 7 which is based on Android 6.0. Marshmallow. The device flaunts a 5.15-inch Full-HD display and packs a 3000 mAh battery. It comes with a 16 MP rear camera and a 4 MP front camera. The Mi 5 also has a fingerprint scanner on the home button and a USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi only launched the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage variant in India with a price tag of ₹24,999. Besides buying the Mi 5 from Mi.com, you can buy it from Amazon India, Flipkart, Snapdeal or Tata CLiQ.
