The Xiaomi Mi 5 was announced last month during MWC 2016, and now, this much awaited phone is all set for its launch in India. Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 5 in India on March 31.
The company has already started sending out press invites. The invite image features a big 5 with ‘All you ever imagined, and more’ written underneath. The launch event will start at 2.30pm onwards on March 31.
Talking about specifications, the Mi 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC which is coupled with 3 GB RAM and is backed by Adreno 530. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a 3000 mAh battery keeps the package running.
Although it comes with 32 and 64 GB of internal storage options, there’s no option for expanding the storage. It features a 16 MP rear camera and a 4 MP front camera and also boasts off 5.15 Full-HD display.
