So, after knowing that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be getting unveiled in February after the Chinese New Year, we now have confirmation that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 820 SoC.
Liwan Jiang, co-founder of Xiaomi, himself took to his Weibo account and confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 5, the company’s flagship smartphone, will indeed be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC.
He also went on further stating that the production of the Mi 5 has started and the device will be released after the spring festival. Which means we can expect a launch of this device on February 8.
