While Xiaomi had launched the affordable Redmi 2A, the company has now launched the enhanced variant of the phone with more RAM and storage in China.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 2A called the enhanced version, which is a variant of the affordable smartphone with additional 2 GB of RAM. The device has a 4.7 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core LCI L1860C processor along with 4G support, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The enhanced Xiaomi Redmi 2A has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a layer of the MiUI v6 on top of it. The handset is priced at just 499 Yuan and will go on sale on November 11 in China.
