Soon after launching the Mi Max in India, Xiaomi has now launched another affordable variant of the handset in China.
Xiaomi has launched an affordable variant of the company’s phablet –Mi Max. While the handset uses the same hardware, it has just 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage. This variant is available only for the base model powered by the Snapdragon 650 processor. The handset is priced at just 1199 Yuan (approx. Rs. 12000).
The 2 GB variant of the Xiaomi Mi Max has the remaining specs same as the regular version, including the massive 6.44 inch full HD display. Also present is a 16 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a massive 4850 mAh battery. We may see this variant entering other markets including India.
