While Xiaomi just unveiled the Mi 5s series a few days back, the company also seems to be gearing up to launch the Mi Note 2.
According to analyst Pan Jiutang, Xiaomi will unveil the Mi Note 2 towards the end of October. The analyst also confirmed that Xiaomi will launch two phones, which would be available in multiple colour variants. While one device is assumed to be the Mi Note 2, we are expecting the other handset to be the Mi Note 2 Pro. Further, a few insiders have hinted to a launch event on October 25.
Rumours so far indicate that the Mi Note 2 series could have a 5.5 inch full HD display. The Mi Note 2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor whereas the Mi Note 2 Pro may have the Snapdragon 821 processor. Both the handsets would have a 4 GB RAM variant, with the Mi Note 2 Pro also having a 6 GB RAM variant. We are waiting for more details.
