While there were reports about the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 being delayed by a month, the company has now confirmed that the wearable is launching in the first week of June.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who has been taking keen interest in the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 2, has revealed that the fitness tracking wearable will be announced on June 7. While the band was supposed to launch along with the Xiaomi Max phablet, it was delayed due to production issues. However, the company now seems to be on track with the supply chain.
Rumours suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 would have a LCD display with a physical button. Along with the regular tracking like steps walked, sleep etc., the wearable also tracks the heartbeat. While there is no word on the pricing of the band, sources suggest that it would be priced affordably like the earlier bands.
