While there have been several claims recently about the upcoming Nexus tablet, WSJ has confirmed its existence.
According to a report in the renowned Wall Street Journal confirms that Google has indeed selected HTC for the upcoming Nexus tablet. The company has apparently flown in HTC engineers to the Googleplex in Mountain View over the past few months to work on the project. Unfortunately the report wasn’t able to offer any launch timelines.
Rumours about the HTC Nexus tablet reveal that it would flaunt an 8.9 inch display with resolution of 2048 × 1440 pixels. NVIDIA has apparently confirmed that the tablet would be powered by the 64 bit Tegra K1 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. We can also expect an 8 MP rear facing Sony camera along with a front facing 3 MP camera.
