It’s no secret that Huawei has been working hard to get its phones into the world’s slimmest phones category and seems like they have hit luck and managed to create the world slimmest phone – the Huawei Ascend P6 measuring just 6.2 mm.
The Huawei Ascend P6, of which press shots leaked today, is said to be the thinnest smartphone in the world till now. The device with the alleged metal-clad housing is said to be at a record 6.2 mm thin.
While not many details other than the thickness are known as of now, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor is expected to power the device with Android Jelly Bean draped with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6. Though it is not yet confirmed, Huawei may launch the device on June 18 at its official event.
