Although most smartphone users underestimate the Windows Phone OS due to its outdated features, the company is striving hard to put in some excellent features in future.
According to sources, the GDR2 update of the Windows Phone 8 OS has a new set of APIs that will handle SMS and Call blocking. The code allows Windows Phone 8 users with the latest update to block calls and texts from specific or private numbers or just block numbers outside your phonebook altogether.
However the users that already have the latest update of the Windows Phone 8 OS may not able to access the feature mainly because although the feature has a code, it still has no user interface to use it. Yet we expect third party developers to leap in and create apps to use the API’s even before the company actually comes out with the UI.
